I’ve got the perfect no fuss drink and snack idea for you to serve up this 4th of July! Super simple, minimal ingredients, and so easy to prepare, your kids can even help!

Easiest Red, White & Blue Drink for Kids

Adults get all the fun drinks around the holidays, let the kiddos have one too! Here is one of the easiest drinks you’ll ever concoct. You can tweak this recipe so many different ways. It’s main ingredient is ice cubes! Pick your favorite red, white and blue liquids. (And no, kids, ‘blue’ is not a flavor.) Freeze them in an ice cube tray and drop them into any clear or white beverage. That’s it! So simple, you might even steal the idea for your adult beverages!

Red colored beverage
Blue colored beverage
Clear or white colored beverage

Chocolate-Peanut Pretzel Bites

I was looking for an easy treat that the boys could help me make, and this recipe earned “bonus points” for allowing us to use up our Hershey Kisses from Easter! With only three-ingredients and the perfect combination of sweet and salty, you’ll have a hard time not stealing a nibble of the ingredients while you’re prepping this — but I promise the end result is worth waiting for. Make this for your 4th of July gathering or any other celebration using custom chocolate colors.

Ingredients:
1 bag peanut M&Ms
1 bag pretzel twists
1 bag Hershey Kisses

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300-degrees. Line your baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

2. Place pretzel twists on the baking sheet. Place a Hershey Kiss on top of each pretzel twist.

3. Bake for 4 minutes.

4. Immediately top each Hershey Kiss with an M&M.

5. Cool before serving. Store in an airtight container. Keep cool if serving outdoors, as the chocolate may get soft.

That’s it! Try not to eat all of them by yourself!
